Each of our bags are hand stitched together. The advantage of hand stitching vs. machine stitching is that with the pre-punched holes, repairs can easily be made without reworking the entire bag.
Cathy designs the patterns for each bag style. These patterns can be easily manipulated to change the size of the bag.

The patterns for each bag part are printed out on paper and taped onto the leather. Each hole is then punched using a mallet and stitching irons.
This process can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the bag.
Each bag is sewn together by hand using waxed thread. With endless possible combinations of hardware and thread color, each bag has a unique look.
